Why Failures are Important… The Adam Savage Tale

Caught this article from Garr over at Presentation Zen about the courage to fail.  I think this is an important paradigm shift for most Singaporeans as our meritocratic society has built a zero tolerance to failure. Even for those who fail, we are taught to deal with the failure to bring us to the next level. The self resilience and confidence needs more attention in our education and social system.

I’ve personally failed; in school, national exams, securing jobs, securing scholarships, etc… Yet when I look back, I would be able to do what I do today without those failures…
