|Dear friends of ACRES,
What Resorts World is doing to dolphins is enough to upset any animal lover.
25 bottlenose dolphins that once roamed free and wild in the vast pacific ocean are now facing a life of captivity, boredom, stress, claustrophobia, frustration and slow death, thanks to Resorts World, which intends to keep them in its enclosures at Sentosa, Singapore. Two of the original 27 have already died during this ordeal. We need your help to save the rest.
On Friday, May 27, ACRES launched its first ever music and social-media campaign to save the world’s saddest dolphins, on facebook,
youtube and through the website www.saddestdolphins.com. The campaign already has over 4000 fans. And the ground level support is growing. But we need to do more. We need to keep the momentum growing.
Please visit our facebook page “Save the world’s saddest dolphins” and click on like. Then share it with all your friends. Download and spread the campaign song. Post your opinions on our wall. Tell RWS how you feel about this issue on their page. Please do everything you can to help the dolphins through social media. The more support we can show for the dolphins’ release, the better our chances of influencing RWS’ decision.
