SSB Thought Leaders Series

Medical Technology Innovation: East Meets West

Organised by the Singapore-Stanford Biodesign (SSB) Programme Office, the SSB Thought Leaders Series is an annual signature event which brings in key opinion leaders around the world to share and discuss latest industry insights and experiences on medical technology development.

For this inaugural event, we are honoured to have Dr Thomas Fogarty and Mr Lu Yoh-Chie as our anchor speakers. Dr Fogarty is widely regarded as the father of Minimally Invasive Surgery, and Mr Lu is the founder of Singapore’s most successful homegrown medical device company, Biosensors International Group. Through an “in-conversation” styled forum, our distinguished anchor speakers will illuminate U.S. and Asian perspectives on the challenges and future of the medical device industry.
