Open Innovation Labs | Arduino For Rapid Prototyping | 26 September 2011

Check out the Arduino Electronics prototyping course by the NTU Ventures Open Innovation Lab.

With the availability of cheap, open-source hardware platforms like Arduino, you don’t need a fancy lab to design and build the next game-changing device. While Arduino lets you control a huge range of sensors, motors and actuators, it’s not just about hacking around with cool hardware. It’s also about the software that controls these components, enabling you to build smart devices that sense and respond intelligently as they interact with people. This is physical computing.

Perhaps you have an idea for the next great remote sensing medical device. Maybe you just want to dip your toes in the world of rapid prototyping through Arduino. Either way, our workshop will get you started.

We’ll show you:
– Why Arduino is great for testing out new ideas and iterating rapidly
– How others have leveraged the Arduino platform to get into physical computing.
– How to get started with an Arduino board and software development environment
