Technology Review’s annual Emtech is the premier conference focused on emerging technologies and their impact. Starting with the US, MIT and its partners now conduct Emtech in China, India, Italy, and Spain. In 2012, Emtech debuts in South East Asia as Emtech@Singapore- the veritable showcase of cutting edge research in emerging technologies in S.E. Asia and Australia.
Emtech@Singapore 2012 brings together business leaders, senior technologists, investors, and innovative entrepreneurs to discuss the technological innovations that are changing the face of business and driving the global economy. Since 1999, the editors of Technology Review have honored the young innovators whose inventions and research we find most exciting; today that collection is the TR35, a list of technologists and scientists, all under the age of 35. Their work–spanning medicine, computing, communications, electronics, nanotechnology, and more–is changing our world. TR35 in Singapore will identify breakthrough innovators from Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, and rest of South East Asia.
